Dana is the data science team leader at MSD. She applies her multidisciplinary background and over 10 years of experience in medical research and biological data to build and deploy machine learning models that solve complex problems and generate insights for the healthcare industry. She has a Ph.D. in chemical physics, did her Postdoctoral research in bioinformatics, and possesses multiple skills in applied machine learning, data analysis, high-performance computing, and statistical modeling. Her mission is to leverage data science to advance animal and human health, and to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others.
