Abstract

Would you trust a new AI product to make critical decisions in your daily life? How about driving your kids to school?

Building an AI product isn’t just about the smart technology – it’s about earning trust. If we don’t get trust right, users will leave, maybe for good.

In this session, we’ll talk about how trust is gained and lost, how initial failures can impact long-term trust, the importance of clear communication to users about the system’s capabilities, and the balance between automation and user control. We’ll look at real-world examples and discuss the UX and Product principles for creating a successful AI product.
